Located on a hillside, the villa overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and enjoys a panoramic view of the wider landscape.

Topio was appointed to design the outdoor spaces.

The brief from the client includes a swimming pool, a deck and some lawns. The main constraints were the topography and the accessibility.

We chose to use the wider landscape and the views as part of the composition of the gardens. We set up walls made of local stones to structure terraces, creating rooms and ambiances to sequence the garden. Local plants have been carefully chosen to compose a natural feel, enhancing the surrounding fragrances, colors and textures.
